“The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons (and daughters) of God to be revealed.” (Romans 8:19) “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:4) “And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse.” (Revelation 22:2-3)
The implications of the above passages are monumental. Could it be that—all creation is actually waiting for us, the sons & daughters of God to show up? Could it be that when we do, things on earth, right here, right now truly change—lives, communities and even environments are restored and the effects of mankind’s sin is gradually undone? If it is even remotely possible that this is what the scriptures have been telling us all along, we absolutely must understand it and think about how we should then live—now.
