What if…what if all of us who claim to follow Christ took seriously a couple of passages of scripture and applied them to how we do our jobs and conduct ourselves at work every day? The passages of scripture I’m thinking of are these:

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed,
do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

(Colossians 3:17)

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,
since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.
It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

(Colossians 3:23-24)
