We may be alive—breathing, but we may not be experiencing the life God designed us for and which he wants to offer us now. This life only comes to us through an encounter with Jesus, the living Son of God.  

The man Jesus was the divine Christ/Messiah. He came to escort us into the eternal age now which he inaugurated with his coming as God in the flesh on earth. We enter this life now when we believe and trust in Jesus. This new, eternal life is marked by obeying God and loving each other—now.
