God waits patiently for us to come to our senses. No matter how or why you got lost, God’s love reaches out— and it is strong enough to break any generational, recurring brokenness. After looking at God’s story of the prodigal son, we see the heart our father in heaven has for every one of us that realize our need to be with Him. Notice: Even though the younger son had sinned against his father, he didn’t hold it against him because he was full of love. The older son didn’t listen to the father because he was full of bitterness. Remember that Bitterness robs joy but forgiveness grows joy!
