Jesus will build His Church and gather together His People in the most difficult places and under the most challenging of circumstances. Nothing can stand against those who come together in the name of Jesus, the Messiah, the Son of God. But our identity as the Community of Jesus, his EKKLESIA—his Gathered People, must be about him and who he is and nothing else!   

This is the kind of church we want to be at fccphx. We want to follow Jesus, not an institution, not a list of ideas that serve only to identify those with whom we disagree, and so divide us from each other. We want to unite around his cause to love and redeem all creation. We believe that by losing ourselves in the work of Jesus, we will find ourselves. So we’ll do whatever it takes, even take up our crosses together, because he took up his cross for us!
