Sometimes God shows up to intervene in our affairs in unusual and even miraculous ways. It’s not really predictable, but usually follows an act of faith and obedience on our part. When he does, it’s not so that we can enjoy the miracle show…,

… it’s so he can get our attention, redirect our focus from ourselves to him, and so that we, in turn, can respond to him and point others to him. That’s what happened in this amazing story of Peter and John and their encounter with a man who was crippled from birth. What happened drew the attention of a couple thousand more people in Jerusalem who got right with God as a result.
