4/26/20 Message – Where Is God When Life Gets Tough?: Why Suffering

Chuck Foreman – Teaching / Missions Pastor

For now we suffer, as a broken humanity together with a broken creation. But we look forward, in eager anticipation, along with the rest of creation, to the restoration and renewal of all things, and to the redemption of our bodies in the New Heaven and the New Earth!

4/19/20 Message – Like Jesus: 4 Chair Discipling – Chair 3 – The Worker

Jerome Parker – Community Pastor

The work of being a Jesus Follower is really where the rubber meets the road. No matter how deep we grow in our walk with the Lord we’ll never stop being workers. There are no furloughs or vacation days for doing of the work of the gospel. Work with pleasing the Heart of God in mind.

3/29/20 Message – Like Jesus: 4 Chair Discipling – The Method

Chuck Foreman – Teaching / Missions Pastor

For Jesus to take us from seekers all the way to being mature, fruit bearing disciple-makers, he must lead us through many trials along the way. But remember his promise, “Surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)

Message Monday 3/16/20 – Like Jesus: 4 Chair Discipling – The Humanity Of Jesus

Jerome Parker – Community Pastor

Understanding that Jesus is fully God and fully man is fundamental to the success of the life of the believer.  The great commission tells us to go and make disciples of all people groups. The disciples that we are instructed to make should be an emulation of the process by which Jesus made disciples.  If we as Jesus followers fail to embrace the humanity of who Jesus was, then our efforts to make disciples will ultimately be short circuited.  While Jesus was indeed God wrapped in flesh, he still relied on the instruction of God the father, the guidance of God Holy Spirit, a lifestyle in prayer and studying of scripture and intentional time in community.  These are the same things that we must rely on if we are to fulfill John 14:12!
