Compassion is at the center of Jesus’ ministry and is the fuel of Kingdom work. Recognizing Jesus’ compassion for us, should cause us to have this for others and produce Godly action.

Jesus comes to restore God’s purpose for the Sabbath that the Pharisees had missed in their religiosity— people! If our worship allows us to simultaneously ignore the needs of others, it probably isn’t worship.

The Kingdom of God is now, reaching out to the whole world offering salvation. But if we think that Kingdom is about us and our agenda, we may be in, or waiting for, a different Kingdom.
